    Hello all,

After delivering my steel coils in Matawan NJ, I was dispatched to the port of Wilmington DE to pick up a steel plate to bring back home. The SKX 009 is performing flawlessly. It’s as it’s been designed for this type of work.

    Crossing into Delaware

My departure from Montreal was marred, again, by foul weather. Freezing rain this time but my return was nothing but blue skies and dry roads. Finally!

How does your Seiko hold up? My Dad drives and I thought about getting him a watch. When I brought up the subject of watches he commented that he doesn’t wear nice ones because they would get beat up on the job.

Delaware Memorial Bridge is my favorite bridge. I loved riding over it when my parents would take us from NoVa to NJ and back for family visits. I only seem to cross it about every 3-4 or so years now, as I rarely head up that way anymore. But at 74 my mom is still terrified to drive over it :D

The Seiko is taylormade for the job..tough, comfortable and accurate! It's also good looking and fun to wear. The perfect tool for the job.

    Faz,

Love the watch and really appreciate your journal, it allows me to vicariously be a truck driver.

Makes sense, dive is just a typo away from drive!

I agree with you, I gravitate towards my SKXs because they feel and look great, while not being so expensive that I'm worried about it all day long.
