I've been looking to get a Tag Heuer Monza but when I was doing some research I noticed that some of the watches for sale on various websites had variations on the back. I was wondering if Tag Heuer actually put the re-edition on the back as you can see from the pictures one has it while the other does not. I don't know if it was polished off but it seems to me that the one without re-edition is more common.
There were a few different model variations and you might be able to find some more info at our sister site, forums.calibre11.com . Check this out for starters too, https://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuer-monza-re-edition/
In terms of getting a reissued Monza, the two that I believe are worth it are the calibre 36 with the El Primero movement or last year's calibre 17 for it's closeness to the original. I have the calibre 17 and it is very well done.
