Just wondering - what do people not like about Hodinkee’s Tag Heuer Autavia 02? Seems like all their other LEs are selling well except this one

I am partial to the standard version with the 12 hour bezel, but I think the orange accents do make the dial "pop" some. I am not a big chronograph wearer though.

Who's to say it's not selling well? Most/all of the Hodinkee LEs are strictly limited to a certain quantity (25 / 50 / 100, etc.). This one is not numbered, the page only says that quantities are limited. They could have hundreds, who knows.

That said it's a watch with fairly niche appeal and it's more expensive than the regular Autavia. I can't really see a reason to buy one.

I think it came after quite a few other special edition Autavias, so maybe most people who wanted an Autavia had already bought one? The Calibre 11 Siffert was probably the pick of the bunch.

It's not a limited model, and the Orange Boy was more of a cult vintage watch than the Siffert. I'm sure they sold a bunch, but not every one they had.
