Unidirectional rotating bezel turns correctly with a bit of play
Steel Heuer marked press in crown
Case measures 42mm wide 46mm lug to lug and has 20mm lugs
Case shows well with some scratches and marks
Dial shows very well
Luminous material shows patina and still glows when exposed to light
Movement sets runs and keeps quartz time
Quickset date works correctly
Hack function works correctly

I spoke with Justin, the owner of TAG1000DIVER, and he told me this crown was originally a Bayonet style crown, (half turn to lock it,) and they commonly get stripped over the years.

So this crown isn't suppose to be a press fit crown. It closes like a press fit but should be a locking crown.

I'm going to take $100 CAD ($75 USD) off the asking price because of the crown.

New asking price is $900 CAD ($685 USD) shipped OBO

Edited to add: There seems to be some debate about whether or not these Heuer marked crowns were originally push in crowns.

I was told by Justin that they were always locking crowns that became stripped and I was contacted by another Heuer collector who stated that yes some of the Heuer crowns were originally push fit and never locked.

Both collectors know their stuff so I'm not sure who's right. If anyone has some knowledge of these and wants to weigh in, please do.

I put a Shark Mesh bracelet on this watch. It's used but is still in good condition and serves this watch well.

I'm open to offers on this and the other watches I have listed.
