I would never normally pick a Quartz up but it looks and feels lovely on the wrist. It’s feels vintage but is modern.

I have the automatic of this, and it’s my favorite casual watch.

I also have an automatic titanium version of this watch. It's superb.

I want the automatic version with the electric blue dial. So pretty.

A good design.
They should still offer the propper sword hands as an option.

I have been looking through on-line listings for SeaMasters and Planet Oceans; new and previously-owned. This is exactly what I was thinking that I would buy a new one if it had the sword hands. My preference is also a blue dial with waves, a blue bezel, and with the longer bezel tick-marks only from zero to 15. I don’t know why those are the most important aesthetic features to me, but I think those are the most eye-appealing characteristics.

Omega have to re-issue at some stage, it will depend on what they are waiting for.

Nice choice. I think this video does a good job of explaining the design cues and inspiration.
I have a 2254 and have often said it is my most legible watch - also aesthetically beautiful while also achieving a high level of technical performance.

His follow up also cover the push to quartz for military watches - so you cover both angles :0)

I had the same reference and I regret selling it. Quartz was super accurate for work and I could leave it off all weekend and not have to set the time come Monday.

it’s quite a new experience not having to put it in the watch winder.
