Switching out default bracelet for a strap from another model

Hi, I’m wondering when you purchase an Omega watch from the boutique or an AD, if you do not like the default bracelet or strap that comes with the watch, is it possible to switch it out to another strap from another model, assuming it fits the lug width. If so, would the price be lowered if you change from a bracelet to a strap? Thanks!

Highly unlikely, the default bracelet/strap is not "new" anymore so will be hard for them to sell for listprice. I would advise to buy on bracelet and try to get a complimentary strap included, reselling with bracelet will be so much easier.

Not that I've ever heard of. I would be shocked if they did.

They may give you a reduced price on the purchase of a new/different bracelet though.

What model watch are you talking about?

Unlikely, but some ADs will throw in a NATO or rubber strap for free to make the deal. You can ask for that.
