    Hello all, does anyone know for sure if a model that was produced over a longer run than normal can change from having radium dials at the start of the production run and change to Tritium at the end? I have come across a black dial Constellation 168.005 from 1967 with Swiss Made T on the dial. Everything else checks out ok, case, movement, medallion etc except for the T on the dial. If Omega changed from Radium to Tritium around 1963 did they begin to phase in Tritium dials on some models at around the same time?

    My questions are;
    Is it a re finished dial?
    Is it possible that this is a Service dial?
    Should the date wheel be white or black?
    Should the dial have the minute track marks where the indexes are?

    Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    The dial is original and correct. The date wheel is correct.

    That dial is fine. The hands still have the lume, and the markers have some of it at the ends.

    Thanks for the replies guys. I thought it had to be original but was not certain about the tritium. Sadly the case on this has been polished to within an inch of its life.
