Or in a Dennis style Alternate Tittle; How I learned to buy watches by going to Phillies games

I thought someone might notice when this turned up in the WRUW thread, but apparently not. :D
The size of a vintage Connie, not too little;)

Nice one! Was also tempted but another one with a black dial came up and I bought that one instead. :)

No worries, there are plenty more out there.

Yeah guys - whenever you feel bad just go look at my post in the thread about first vintage Omegas. I screwed the pooch big time on mine 5 or 6 years ago. That thing would make anyone feel better.

So far I've blown two I should have in my cigar box and I've bought one that I didn't really know what I was doing or what I was buying, that I love.
So, trying not to sound aphrodisiacal, or whatever Lou called me, this is like baseball, you get hits sometimes that you don't deserve and you get robbed from time to time.

So what watch is your ground ball with eyes, or dying quail?

Bein' from St Looey and remembering Howard writhin' in the dirt in '11 (the end of the Phillies in the modern era) , I am uncomfortable with baseball analogies because of my superior positioning (There's probably no Yankees here (good luck with hot dog, Chicago style, Siriano ). Let's just say I feel like sometimes you bite the bear and sometimes the bear bites you.
