That’s exactly the reaction that makes it all worth it, you get her one and begin an interest in Speedmasters then you’ve got the green light for future purchases and have a passion you can share together which is awesome. Getting my girlfriend her first Omega was one of the best things I did too.
The only negative is she tried on the Seamaster Deluxe stepped piepan, the one there are like 3 of known floating around, then started hand washing dishes while wearing it. Saved it just before it dipped below the sudsy water lol
Not necessarily. The Swatch branding on the strap is displayed there on the outside for all the other people(observers) to see.
I wonder what type of conversation we would be having if the company ownership structures were reversed. Imagine for a moment if Omega owned Swatch How would we view these current collaborative offerings then?
As discussed on this forum previously. It seems that a Speedmaster can be anything as long as Omega say it is just as a "Moonwatch" can be anything if Omega say it is and markets it accordingly. Even if it's never been tested by NASA and has an Automatic movement(though allowable under the testing criterior) or even a date function as long as Omega says it is a "Moonwatch". A MoonSwatch is another kettle of fish and we can't loose sight of that fact
not the type for me. more of an afterthought of the rolex datejust color dials launched two years ago. could have been better if such thematic color design was released reviving omega seamaster's vintage colored dial and not under swatch brand. it's quartz.
I think these are brilliant. I’ll be getting a couple if they eventually appear on line. Now for my gardening/ tip runs I can retire my g shock and still wear a speedy.
Solar System objects... the Sun is a star, there're 8 planets already a dozen dwarf planets and many MSSB - Minor Solar System Bodies (asteroids)
Well, I'm glad I slept in today. I can't imagine what a zoo it must have been at my local Swatch Boutique this morning.
3bar/30m, same as a Flik Flak which is fine for swimming and a washing machine. Well, it's good down to 30m if the seals aren't faulty.
