Swap out seatbelt buckle on 1247/237 shark mesh?

Hi,
I've combed through the OF and the world wide web and I can't figure this out.

I'm looking at getting a shark mesh for my POC.

I'm worried I'll not like the tubes on the 021ST1964.

What I'm trying to figure is can I source the OME-020ST1247237 with the open mesh end and remove the seat belt buckle?

I'm thinking if I can, I'd want to replace it with the ratcheting clasp 94522023.

Does the 1247/237 have 20mm ends and can that buckle be removed?

I'm also worried what the length would wind up being if I could add the ratcheting clasp. Sounds like the 1247/237 is a bit short for me and I'm not sure how much length the ratcheting clasp would add.
