Suverän crown

This watch from 1944 has been redialed twice. Once in the first owner's possesion (it had a white dial at delivery), and once on my request when his daughter found it in his shed and gave it to me in 2004. I knew nothing about vintage watches - but I guess the dial was unsalveagable anyway.

Last year when serviced, my watchmaker suggested a new crown. But somehow the old one seems to match the watch better. Any opinions?

The old crown is correct and consistent with the watch.
Thanks, @bubba48 !

I bought an original and unused crown for my Suverän from a watchmaker recently. I purchased it for 40€.
Looks exactly like my old crown. I'll have it replaced.

I hope you find a crown eventually. I searched for an original crow for the same reason as you. When i bought my Suverän it didnt have the correct crown and it bothered me. I just had to find an original that suits it best.
