Hi All - this is my first post - so apologies for just launching into it - but I've recently started (slowly) collecting Speedmaster Limited Editions - and have been looking for a reasonably priced Alaska Project for quite some time now. Obviously MUCH easier said than done! I just came across a new ad on Chrono24 from someone in Romania - and there are some suspicious signs here. The biggest to me is the warranty card wallet that has 6 warranty cards it: 3 for the Alaska Project (Ref 311.32.42.30.04.001) and 3 (oddly) for the 40th Anniversary Apollo 11 (Ref 311.30.42.30.01.002). When I asked the seller he said he bought the Alaska from the Omega Boutique in Paris and they must have accidentally given him BOTH sets of warranty cards. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? Seems very suspicious to me. Thanks in advance! Picture of cards and link to the sale below: https://www.chrono24.co.uk/omega/31...l-alb-armare-manuala-cronograf--id7988459.htm
Missing the metallic bracelet and the second white strap? And the thing to hold the watch is wrong too. Having too many cards is a first for me but as long as you have the good ones for yours ?.. A bit smelly tho...
Both can still be bought from factory but that doesn't look right to loose your metallic bracelet, strap and the pillow, then if you get it for this price and everything is legit it's a pretty good price you will get the full set for less than 10k
yeah but still if legit pretty good. I wouldn't go other than face to face for this one. Too bad I was in Romania 2 days ago haha
Serial number: 77215324 Article ref: 31132423004001 Watch seems legit if the serial number matches the card...
The pillow thing looks like a Heiden watch winder cushion. My AP is complete and has a certificate of authenticity in addition to the red card.
