·on the dual crown SC, are the star gears the same dimensions for both the larger and smaller examples, except for maybe the shaft length?
Along the same line, did the star gears get supplied by the case manufacturers or the internal bezel manufacturers?
I would think there had to be a standard that both bezel and case manufacturers followed with the length of shaft the only difference, if that.
Any watchmakers or collectors have any insight?
