Lemania 3000
Have a look at Omega cal 381 and see if you can spot the similarities (also made by Lemania - cal 3300).
Lemania cal 3000 was developed from the Lemania S27. The S27 was again also used as basis for the chronograph movements CHRO27 (Omega 320/321). They also made automatic versions of the same caliber (cal 36xx)

I have tried to piece together an overview on these fantastic movements:
  • Lemania S27 17 jewels, Breguet spiral - Listed by Ranfft as “base calibre for the 27mm chronographs from Lemania and Omega”
  • Lemania S27T1 17 jewels, Breguet spiral - Prepared for date feature.
  • Lemania DS27 17 jewels, Breguet spiral - With date feature.
  • Lemania 2990 17 jewels, Breguet spiral - Same as DS27
  • Lemania CH27 17 jewels (caliber 2310, Breguet spiral - Same as Omega 320)
  • Lemania CH27 C12 17 jewels, (caliber 2320, Breguet spiral - Same as Omega 321)
  • Omega 27 Chro T1 PC AM 17 jewels (caliber 320: 2 register chronograph, Breguet spiral)
  • Omega 27 Chro C12 T2 PC AM 17 jewels (caliber 321: 3 register chronograph, Breguet spiral)
  • Omega 27 D PC AM 17 jewels, Breguet spiral (caliber 380 - never in serial production)
  • Omega 27 DL PC AM 17 jewels (caliber 381 - Cosmic Moon Phase, Breguet spiral)
  • Lemania D27 17 jewels - Equivalent to Omega 380, Breguet spiral (See Lemania 3300).
  • Lemania 3000: sub second, 17 jewels, Breguet spiral.
  • Lemania 3010: sub second, 21 jewels, Breguet spiral.
  • Lemania 3015: sub second, date, 17 jewels, Breguet spiral.
  • Lemania 3040: sub second, 21 jewels, Breguet spiral, glucydur balance.
  • Lemania 3050: sweep second, 15/17 jewels, Breguet spiral.
  • Lemania 3060: sweep second, bridge over center second drive, 17 jewels, Breguet spiral.
  • Lemania 3065: sweep second, bridge over center second drive, date, 17 jewels, Breguet spiral.
  • Lemania 3100, 3110: sub second, 17 jewels flat hairspring
  • Lemania 3150: sweep second, 15/17 jewels flat hairspring
  • Lemania 3160: sweep second, bridge over center second drive, 15/17 jewels flat hairspring
  • Lemania 3170: sweep second, bridge over center second drive, 15/17 jewels flat hairspring
  • Lemania 3300: sub second, calendar: day, date, month, 17 jewels flat hairspring (Same as Omega cal 380).

No cal 380 is correct. Listed by Omega in Omega Saga as prototype. A cal 381 without moon phase.
Lemania also made the 381 but only under the Omega brand as far as I have found.

Ok, I couldn't find the 380 on Roland's site.

Ranfft is quite extensive, but I guess prototype movements that never entered commercial production is a bit outside the scope😉.
There is actually very little information on the non chronograph Lemania watches in general.
I think this partly has to do with the relatively small production number (under their own brand) and very much due to the deserved focus on their fantastic chronograph designs. Their "regular" movements and related watches are still well kept "secrets". 😗

Was going to create a Super Compressor Roll Call thread, but found this thread. Not as active as is should be given all the watches you all own, so thought this one should be revived.

I picked this one up earlier this week at a shop in downtown Palm Springs, CA. I was out there a few weeks back and ran across it as I was out for lunch.

It is a Hamilton 600 Super Compressor.

I am not sure what year this is from. It could be the late 1960s or early 1970s. From what I can gather there were two different movements used in these watches, so I would need to get a look inside to see the movement number to get a better sense when it was produced.

I found a watchmaker that will swap out the crystal. And contacted a Hamilton enthusiast for a lead on a crystal (apparently hard to find a crystal, but have yet to confirm this).

I believe all parts to be original, so any feedback would be appreciated.

I have quite a few compressors, and actually prefer the less common single crown versions. Here are a couple of rarely seen model...
