Greetings,

How do you spend your summer? Where are you traveling? What do you do?

My favorite summer hobbies are freediving and spearfishing.

Currently in Croatia.

Enjoy, it looks very beautiful there. What's the dive watch you're wearing with no brand on the dial? And a suede strap on a dive watch??!!

Its wannabe 62MAS with Seiko movement and sterile dial. Perfect for daily wear and paid only 150€ for it. I'm not using it for diving since it has no real use 30m underwater but looks nice on that strap. 😗

My wife and I should have travelled to Finland and Estonia. My wife is from Finland and we planned to visit her family before a holiday in Estonia. Those plans went out the window so we have stayed in Romania. We are moving to Azerbijan when it opens up again.
Otherwise we get up early to go running and maybe pop to the park next to our apartment for a beer or two. It is very hot here at the moment so making the most of the aircon.
Always wanted to visit Croatia. While travelling in Sri Lanka we met a very nice couple from Split and they certainly sold me on visiting the country.

@Zapatta Really nice shots there friend, and especially the food! I spoke on another thread about a friend in Croatia who lives part of the year on a sailboat and catches fresh octopus, grills them right on the beach with only seawater and lemon to season. I hope to visit hi one day and enjoy your beautiful country. Have a Plum Brandy for me!

Croatia is great for a nomadic lifestyle. Lonely beaches, fish, sea, Mediterranean cuisine .. What more do you need in life.. Živjeli(cheers) 👍

Depends on which part you're in. If you are in the north (Istria), wherever you go it will be great. Wine, olive oil, truffles, stone houses, like little Italy.

If you are in the south (Dalmatia), I suggest the islands of Vis, Kornati, Brac, Hvar, Veliki / Mali Losinj, etc ..
The food is typical Mediterranean, the wine is perfect and the women are beautiful.
In any case, you will have a great time, so share the pictures with us.

There's a bronze statue of Orson Welles in Split that a family friend created. I would love to see any photos if you happen across it, but please do not go out of your way. Have fun!

Split is just across Brač, Šolta and Hvar. Highly recommend Zlatni rat beach on island of Brač.
