    Has anybody come across one of these? I thought it looked quite nice..
    There's a cream dial version in my local pawn shop..

    Another of the many brands no longer in existence. Probably a Landeron 148 inside.

    Another "Chronograph Suisse" variation as Dennis noted, and yes likely a Landeron inside. The movements are okay, if nothing too special, and the cases are something you need to pay attention to.

    These things are often made of 18k gold, and are very thin and a bit flimsy. They completely snap together, and rely on good fit between the case parts to keep them assembled. I would be wary of any damage to the case, and I see a pretty good ding in the bezel above the 1000 number on the tachymetre scale in your sample photo. If the one you are looking at has any case damage, I would have it checked out to make sure it fits together well before buying it.

    Thanks for the heads up guys!

    I shall be leaving this one in my local pawn shop...

    I did see a nice 40's omega military watch tho...might wait a while!
