Any ideas where to search for a set of Hands Crown & Complete Balance (or at least a balance staff) for 1939 30T2SC I have been looking for some time now...
I have a similar one in the shop... Slightly different hand, and case, but a similar overall layout. What is the case number? Is it not a shock protected balance? There are plenty of Incabloc staffs out there, but non-shock staffs are harder to come by. No idea where in the world you are located, but have you tried watch material suppliers in your area/country for the staff?
Hi Al, Yes, it has a similar layout. Is the dial spotted or is that just the crystal? I'll have to get the case number next week. The watch is at a friend's house and he & his wife are ill. As to where I am located, I'm in The Promised Land - sometimes referred to as Greater Vancouver BC Rod
Reproduction crowns that were made for the Royal Air Force 30T2SC are available on Ebay- seller Latriaz. He’s a private collector. They don’t look exactly like the ones on the pictures here but at least they fit and they are the exact reproduction of Omega crowns.
