Suggestions for a vintage service in Sydney

Hi All,
My father, based in Sydney/Mittagong/Canberra, has a 1950s Seamaster calendar with a black dial which he has owned since 1961. I have not seen the watch since about 1982 and I believe it is suffering from, what we call in the museum world, benign neglect. He told me it needs to be oiled, and I told him to hold on until I had some informed suggestions.

Who would you recommend in in Sydney, the Southern Highlands or ACT to sympathetically service the watch so that his patina remains but the watch runs reliably. (I am in the US so all I can do is offer information).

Thanks for taking the time to share your suggestions.

It’s always worth using the forum search function for questions like these as they’ve often been asked before.

Thanks for the advice. I was not having any luck, but I see I was not using the search function properly.

The places that seem most promising are:

Lewis Watch Co in Perth https://www.lewiswatchco.com/
CSWR https://cswr.com.au/
Nicholas Hacko https://www.nicholashacko.com.au/

If anyone has any thoughts about the above or more recommendations, I am all ears.

I can vouch for LWC and Nick Hacko, no experince with CSW but I can't find any complaints about him.
