Well, the dial has a light patina to it, and the movement sure isn't mint, but not terrible. But the price is easily $1000 too high and that's if it was in mint condition.
I did not look any further once JMW showed up..... is just a bit too late in my life to change my name to John Michael West...
Price and slight dial patina for me are bigger problems than the inscription in the back. Seconds hand a more minor problem. I personally avoid personalized inscriptions like this but sometimes I tolerate it because the condition of the watch is otherwise excellent (sometimes these watches are worn less frequently particularly if they were given as a reward for services rendered) or the watch is difficult to locate in any condition.
