At 1st glance thought this looked like a nice piece, but not sure if the bracelet looks right. Experts care to opine?

End links look a little odd (but I'm not the expert). Bracelet is marked '16223', but Google search indicates that 16223 is a Jubilee.

And then looks kind of like plating wearing off, which would clearly not be right (unless it's an artifact of poor image quality).

Liveauctioneers listing;

Right to be wary, or looks OK?

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I can’t answer your question, but, if you decide to go for it, know that live auctioneers often (always?) adds a few percentage points to the buyers premium. If you can bid from the actual auctioneer’s site, you might do better.

Bracelet looks fake, and this also makes me doubt the authenticity of the watch head.

My concern also, but the fakes are getting so good now it's hard to know what to look for...

The bracelet is fake.
*endlink fitment is off (the corner of the endlinks should be pointy and flush with the 90 degree angle where the lugs meet the case; these ones seem to have that pointy edge rounded or radius'd out)
*solid endlinks for Rolex Subs don't have the part # visible when the endlink is installed. Only on the inside when the endlink is removed from teh watch. The part # on the endlink that is visible, is incorrect for this watch/bracelet.
* The part number indicated on the last link (before you get to the endlink) is not correct for this watch or bracelet
* The 4th and 5th link (as measured from the endlink and progressing toward the clasp) don't have any visible screws going through the link.

Dial doesn't look good either....
* the 'Swiss Made' is not centered between the 28 minute marker and 32 minute marker (it looks to much closer to the 32 minute marker....leaving more space between the 'e' and the 28 minute market). On a genuine Rolex dial the leading "S" in Swiss and trailing "e" in Made are equidistant from those minute markers.
* the number 1 in the '1,000ft' is missing the little serif at the top left of the stroke. It it just a straight line like a lower case letter l or roman numeral I.

Crown on the clasp looks a little too big to me as well.

I'd steer clear of this one. 😲

Emailed the auction house asking basically, "so does this Rolex have the gold plating wearing off?...". Received back a reply that was not really committal one way or the other on the condition, but now the lot for this piece appears pulled.

Probably right to be sceptical (basically everyone on this thread), & glad that no one's getting burned on this one, hopefully.

What a wired bracelet. Look at this link. Also,, the gold plating on the bracelet appears to be wearing off

I’m not convinced about the watch. The crown-guards/crown look odd.

Pretty sure this is a 100% fake. For instance: the font used for Rolex (on the dial) is not correct

What a wired bracelet. Look at this link.

The indentation in that link is where the diver clasp snaps into place once folded up
