Hi,

I was wondering what are the best places to buy nice straps online or in NYC?
Thanks

James Rust is phenomenal. I have bought many dozens of straps from him from the finest gators to lizard straps. He is second to none - I don't buy straps anywhere else.

I kind of found him by accident, short straps are hard to find!

I bought straps for my vintage omegas 18mm from Edelweiss2000. They are vintage 18/16mm Omega original straps and hard to find.

Not many left, I think.

Of those Rustwatches straps which brands do you guys go for? The Artisanal 18mm croc in black and brown looks amazing but do you guys have any favorites?

The artisanal hirsch straps that James sells (no matter the material) are top quality. The gator artisanals are as nice as camille fournet straps and at the price that James sells them are an absolute steal. I've been buying from him for years now and a few years back, he had way more variety including some very nice tiffany ostrich straps that sadly are now all gone. He told me his supplier for the tiffany and artisanal straps has gone out of business so what artisanal straps he still has are all there is left so get them while you can!

You never asked!😎

He's been on eBay so long, I figured you knew.

BTW, if you go to a site called Blujay.com, he's a couple of bucks cheaper there than on eBay:

Happy shopping!

P.S. the Nappa leather Hirsch Artisanal bands are the best buy you will find anywhere on Earth.

Can you guys post some better pics of them on some watches? The ebay ads aren't that good.

Came across this video when looking at another forum:

IIRC, Hadley-Roma had a connection to the old Norman Morris Corp. (former USA importers of Omega). Which makes this perfectly appropriate for this Omega Forum.

Take care,

Edit - Found this video on YouTube

Not only did NM Corp. own Roma in the 1970's, Hadley-Roma now distributes Hirsch watchbands in the USA.

So it has come full circle.
