Please look at the Dynamic on the left. Notice that it has a leather strap attached to an adapter ring with lugs. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find this accessory. I have seen pics of this adapter, but I cannot locate one. I don't mind if it is an aftermarket or the real deal.

 

The upper image is from Omega and is actually the picture they use for the specs for Dynamic 166.039. The other image I found through Google and is from this forum. WUS has a similar image and it appears to be some kind of aftermarket version.

 

I have one for my Dynamic, from eBay some time ago and I haven't seen any others lately.

All I can suggest is to keep hitting eBay with "Omega Genève Dynamic".

Not sure where you got that photo from, but no such adaptor is listed by Omega for the Dynamics. They either come on the bracelet, or use the strap that fits directly to the case with the threaded ring on the back. Those straps are still available, as is the bracelet.

Omega doesn't have such an adapter. These were sold by a Hong Kong supplier who goes by 'omega78062010' on ebay as you see printed above the measuring tape. They aren't listed anymore, but if you have an ebay account, I suppose you could ask him if he will be making anymore soon.

As per the Omega website picture, it wouldn't be the first, and won't be the last time they've used a picture of one of their own watches that isn't correct in a publication.

Just to re-open an old thread I came across the adapter ring at Otto Frei while looking for something else.

That adapter is for a steel bracelet. The adapter that Jim had and sold to me is so a strap can be fitted to the watch.

 

Do you know where I could get that ring? I just bought an Omega Chronostop 146.012 which uses the same bracelet system as the dynamic and have been looking for that exact ring for a couple of month now. I would be very thankful for your help
