Some 20mms can be made to fit but its better to get a real 19mm, there are several members on here that sell Horween shell cordovan straps in 19mm that are perfect for Speedys, @woodwkr2 and @jankoxxx are two that spring to mind, both produce excellent straps.

I'd also be surprised if there weren't 19mm Hodinkee straps, I know that many of Ben Clymer's watches, especially his favourites are 19mm (6239 Daytona, A386 El Primero, 2998/2915 Speedmaster etc)

A common recommendation around here is Bulang and Sons https://bulangandsons.com/product-tag/buckle-19-mm/

Not many 19mm there either (I feel for you, had the same problem recently at 18mm). Some 20mm may be squeezed in but it really depends on the leather. In my experience vintage-style ones are rather stiff and I don't think they would. You could cut off a bit of material on the side if you feel comfortable about this type of work.

If you like the shell style straps I would recommend having one custom made. Not only will it be sized correctly but you can custom configure the color, style, thread color, buckle, keeper width, and length. Too many choices actually.

I bought a "Handcrafted Oil Tan Brown Strap Vintage Omega Speedster 19mm" strap from a seller called HYSHIM on eBay in March of last year. Just over $100 - now $124, just checked. Really pleased with it, very soft and looks the part. Now have a Forstner Komfit band ( not a J B Champion, but a lot cheaper and in my opinion better looking band ends )

I don't have it to hand at the minute for a better pic, but I like a 19mm Hadley Roma oil tan on mine.

I have the same strap on my FOIS. I like the look and feel, but the best thing is that I got it brand new on eBay for less than $17 shipped.

Di Modell make great straps - they hold up very well in my experience. I use them on some of the watch I produce.

Here is my 003 with a 20mm strap. I generally prefer a 20 over a 19 as the lugs are a little wider than 19.

Custom hand made straps are a nice option and you will probably not see another watch in the wild with the same one!!
