Hello, Im awaiting my recently ordered blue dial 8900 PO on bracelet and am looking for different strap options. Please tell me about/show me your non metal 21mm straps on your PO.

Would also like to hear thoughts on the 21mm OEM rubber and leather options.

thanks!

I got my PO GMT (I lovingly call it “Orca”) on a bracelet, but also bought the alligator/rubber strap. I currently wear it on the strap, and like it quite a bit: wears comfortably, somewhat lighter with 145 g (vs 220g + on bracelet). I’m not overly fond of NATO straps with the PO, make it wear too high.

I think there was an oem navy blue croc strap with orange threading. That would complement your watch well

Thanks David. That looks good!!! I’m leaning towards the few OEM options because I love they way they fit against the case and also like that the leather/rubber combination.

Waiting for mine to turn up having ordered from an OB. Blue dial 8900 paired with a cordura / rubber on the deployment.

Intending on daily summer wearing, hoping it’ll be perfect. Not 100% of the ref. but think it’s CWZ002522.

Thanks for reference number. I took a look and that’s it.

Omega was putting the PO on rubber straps since it's inception in 2005. I would look through the Omega catalog and find something that you like. They already have rubber and leather, and rubber straps for the 43.5 case and NATO straps can be purchased anywhere. You have so much to work with already. Enjoy the watch.

Thanks Rado!

Great that you purchased the watch on steel. Now you change things up and have a different look for any occasion.

Indeed! I’m leaning towards the OEM Blue leather Alligator strap.

I love the rubber OEM strap on my Ti PO. Very comfortable. Only draw back is limited fixed holes. I actually put an extra hole in it - delicately with a drill bit (by hand) - and now it fits very well.

Good work! Can you remember the drill bit size?

I believe I started with 1/16 and finished with 5/64.

If you do decide to do it, go slow, and you should see the rubber start to slowly shave off. It definitely made me a bit nervous but the good thing is that the rubber strap itself isn’t that expensive (relative to other parts and the bracelet) and you would already have the deployment if you botched it and need another… or so I told myself.

I have the 43.5mm Good Planet. Does anyone know where I can purchase the blue Omega strap? Or what the part number is?

The oem rubber for planet ocean is great, it's just expensive esp if you figure in the cost of the deployment clasp (which you kind of have to). An omega boutique can order whatever you want.

I've got the blue 43.5 Goodplanet gmt on rubber. I also have a 42mm PO with both bracelet and rubber, I like the look and feel/comfort of the rubber better but I rotate between them. I don't really see a need for leather myself, think rubber suits it better.
