Strap holes staggered with deployant clasp?

Have been enjoying my Apollo 8 a lot lately but am having some strap issues. The stock strap is either too tight to wear comfortably or so loose that it slides past my wrist bone to rest on my hand.

Are the holes for the deployant clasp version in the same place or will the fit be different? Thinking about ordering the strap since I already own the deployant in ceramic/titanium.

Never compared the tang and buckle to the deployant straps but the latter and likely the former are usually available in 3 sizes. Comparing the Regular (Medium) to the Short the holes are roughly between each other, i.e. Ignoring length differences the holes on the Short sit between the Regular so it will be a bit tighter or looser on equivalent holes.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's a crapshoot. You could get a rubber strap which omega has made by whomever, you could get a leather strap which may be made by a totally diffrent supplier. The condura strap is made by JR, I know for fact, but I highly doubt since most of these are hand made that hole location is the same. I'm sure one company try's to keep one product line as close as possible.

With that said I can highly recommend JR for their custom straps. Just give them all the dimentions and they'll work to give you what you want. Or just get a hole punch tool and punch an extra he. I've done 2 of my straps and the new holes look good as the original with the exception of it being in between holes.

I have three different styles of Omega OEM, regular size straps to fit the deployant. In my case, the fitting of all three feels identical. I'm wearing this one (regular size) on my approx 7.5" wrist right now. Strap is adjusted on the third hole (from lug) - fit is perfect and comfy.
