    Deal friends,

I got an offer for this one. Few questions came in my mind for which i seek your expert advice please. The watch is a socalled seamaster automatic day date. The serial number denotes of 1986. Calibre 1022 with carbon deposit. A big spot of erotion i think is there in the automatic gear. The case is 40mm. A big one. Crown original. Machine is in running condition.
My doubt is about the case design and the machine of 1986. It seems not matching.
Further i request you have a look to the back cover. The reference no is also not understandable.

Can you advice me friends on the over all. The price quoted is usd 350.
    Thanking you
    Sd

Thank you for taking your time out for me. So the case and machine matches the omega design history?
The back cover is not having the sparkling round shape design inside. Is it normal ?
Is it possible to get a bezel for this model today in case i buy this one ? If it is possible then i will go for it.
@dsio : can u manage few minutes for this?

Is there a reason you keep looking at the worst examples, that will cost you far more to fix than you will pay for one in much better condition?

Being a gold plated case with Omega 1022, it isn't a desirable watch even if it's a complete watch (nothing missing). I wouldn't pay more than $200 to $225 for one if it's in good condition and complete.

I dont know why people do not come out with the truth like u. Unless experts tell us how wl we learn. Only googling not enough.

    Thank you.

Not everyone is an expert on every type of Omega and very few of us have extensive knowledge of this later vintage period. Furthermore, this is a hobby for most of us, no one is getting paid to reply to you, so a bit of lighthearted banter is standard.

If you need expert advise immediately, I suggest you pay a watch broker or go to a high street store.
