Just wanted to share a photo of a watch I picked up for my birthday a week or so ago. Straight away I need to point out that the seller was completely transparent about what this actually is in their advertisment, and the price was attractive. It's a cal 711 which may or may not have come out of an actual Constellation, which has then been installed in what appears to be an attractive but fairly low quality stepped case of unknown maker, with a completely bespoke wood effect dial with Omega markings. As for size it's about 35mm on the longest dimension from the tips of the lugs, about the same size as my 30s Hamiltons and Gruens.

Being primarily a collector of 30s-40s deco watches, I absolutely love it. I understand some/many may be recoiling in horror.

As long as you are happy, there is nothing much for us to say anything about it.

    Thank-you.
