I have to make some room in my collection as I have piled up too many watches and I just can't wear them all.
Thus, I am offering here a very nice Stowa Flieger 2801 limited to 100 pieces (full set).
It carries a mechanical movement, not the more commun automatic one.
This is the B-Uhr (pilot watch) re-edition inspired from the famous German watch of WW2.
Stowa made this limited edition in 2008 and all the 100 watches were sold in a couple of hours at the time.
I am the second owner of the watch and I only wore the watch for a couple of times.
Here are some specifications :
Size: 40mm in diameter and 10mm in thickness. It is a very nice large watch with a great presence on the wrist and very comfortable to wear.
Dial: Black dial with luminescent arabic indexes. Very strong luminescence in the dark !
Hands: Very nice large sword-type hands. Long luminescent second hand going to the rim of the dial. The hands have a very nice bluish hue depending upon the incident light.
Case: Unpolished case. Shows some wear (light scratches). Specific engraved caseback and case band "FI 23883". Using the onion crown is always a real pleasure to wind the watch.
Bracelet: Original Stowa black leather strap in good shape. An additionnal (mint) Stowa brown leather strap is included.
Movement: ETA 2801 mechanical movement. Running and keeping excellent time. No known service history.
Accessories: Metal box and papers.
Price: 750€ net to me, international DHL shipping included.
