Hi guys, Running out of storage space in my drawer and would like to see what you use and where you found it. Below is a pic of the drawer but I still have a couple more watches, parts and accessories that won't fit. Plus it is not an ideal manner of storage. [/URL cheers Pete
I use a safe. Breaks my heart to keep them locked up all the time, so I rotate them regularly, but its the safest way.
Okay, it's right around the corner. You may or may not notice I don't wear certain watches for months, then they pop up 3, 4, or more times in a couple months. I never have the whole collection in the house because I live in Joizey.
Thanks for all of your input guys. I liked some of the ideas however maybe not as practical as I wish. I was maybe thinking of a case type of arrangement, possibly two. Cheers
My Dad made me this a couple of years ago (since fitted with knobs etc). 7 drawers - 6 x 16 for 96 wrist watches plus 1 x 15 for pocket watches. It is now full, with most of the slots having 2 watches. Which is of course the problem with better storage.
Having run out of space in my two 12 watch display boxes I came across these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Watch-Rol...310?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27ba85e3bePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Nice quality, great price and they protect the rolled up watches very well. I use a few to organize my watches. Watches to be serviced, watches for sale, and so on.... Helps me keep reasonable track of the collection. I also keep most of my "regular size" vintage watches in the rolls, freeing up space in the display boxes for the larger beasts (chronos and such). They also fit perfectly in the safe, and stores a lot of watches in little space!
Maybe a boring solution but I answer by linking to my answer last february... http://omegaforums.net/threads/what-do-you-guys-use-to-display-your-watches.3686/#post-42742
