    Hi gents,

Found this little (literally) watch hiding on the interweb. Its a 1950's Cyma in a small 32mm case size. What I like about it is the stepped case and also the dial which appears to be two tone. The dial text is extremely faded.

Does anyone have any additional info on it perhaps or have a name for it or the case? Google is turning up blank besides this which is a bit different...

I suspect it's a jobber case. Given the Bauhaus style lettering on the dial probably dates it to the pre-war period.

A post war recase of a pre war watch which was pretty much what was done across the board from the 20's to the mid 40's when industrial production shifted back from war materiel to civilian.

A jeweller would have a stock of standard sized cases in both SS and rolled gold for just such a purpose.

Thanks for the information  It must have been tiny before if the re-case ended up being 32mm
