In 100 years, our civilization will be dealing with an aggrieved servant class with abilities beyond those of humans ..it will be scary. Saw this a few days ago. Its both thrilling and highly disturbing. Cue the Battlestar Galactica theme music. Hope someone in AI is reading their Asimov.

Yeah, or their O.C. Bible: “Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind.”

I don't find that one frightening - at least you will see it coming. It's the small flying drones that land in the middle of your forehead and pop off one round before you even have time to react that are far more scary IMO...

Skynet is coming via Apple products.

I used to think that, but their more recent software efforts have been so buggy, I'm not so sure anymore.

Great, so we'll have very smart physically powerful robots but they'll be buggy. Can't wait.

Boston Scientific has other videos where they show how well the robot keeps its balance after someone shoves it hard in the chest. What amazes me is how annoyed I feel when the guy shoves the robot. IT'S A ROBOT. IT DOESN'T CARE.

Right?

Probably had some athletic kid in a suit loaded with sensors do the stunts, then programmed the computer in the robot’s back pack with the data. Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see.
