I guess i can call it a rotation not a collection quite yet. What do you all think? What should be added or changed? I am thinking of getting rid of the 1601 for a white face roman numeral 16234. Any ideas for a gold vintage dress watch? 1973 1601 ,2017 Speedy Pro , 2016 114060 and 1971 King Seiko hi beat

it is a nice selection. All iconic brands and models... like that you have a high-beat Seiko

There is no definition for a collection and it is not important that you have a vast number of watches - it is only important that you like to look at and wear all your watches. And you should only buy what YOU like

In my books As long as there is more than one it's a collection. Looks good so far!

Seems like you are focused on luxury brands.

Gold vintage watch...how about a vintage IWC or Zenith Captain?

How about a solid or capped Polerouter? Great design and good sizes, as well as variety of dial/hand/ring patterns.

I like your thinking on the white faced, Roman numbered Rolex. Mine.

No one needs four wrist watches. Therefore it's a collection. And a very fine one, I should add :)

Nobody needs any wrist watch, just a phone. Unless you're diving, then you obviously need a watch simply to admire its magnified appearance underwater (still thanking you for the Scurfa Bell Diver photo you posted - my go to diver now).
The collection above looks great minus the obvious omission of a vintage Longines :p

    Hi @lowertc

Invariably the direction of your collection will change over time.

Have a look around on the forum to see the various watches been discussed to get some ideas and since it's going to be your collection buy what you like.

That's a good 'start' to the collection, targeting many iconic brands / models. As many have said, you will develop / evolve your tastes and preferences over time. Have fun with it!

You can get a gold Longines for a pittance compared to an IWC or even a Connie. Look for a 30L or 30LS movement.
