dont know about the watch but his album Jazz Samba with Charlie Byrd is really superb! 👍👍

Timing would be consistent. That quartet was working together around 1972 recording Captain Marvel so it’s right in the zone for a Dynamic 1.

Timing would also be consistent in another way: Williams and Clarke would have played like a metronome.

Oh, having subsequently tried to check it seems a lot depends on your definitions. As is everything to do with "first", "most", etc.

It's hard to tell, but looks like the pure oval of a Dynamic. The dial, tho...hmmm...

Thanks for posting either way - I knew I liked Stan Getz and here's on more reason!!

certina has black hands and blue ring dial. in contrast, one worn by getz is white, inner ring dial is white.

True enough, but the Certina Revelation, just like the Omega Dynamic, came in many different guises including the one worn by the ‘lightweight champion of the tenor saxophone’.
