Hello - I’m looking for a stainless steel decagonal crown for a 14381 Constellation. This should be the thinner variety numbered as Omega 4204 or Bestfit 1080. Thank you in advance! Details below from Desmond’s article: http://download1077.mediafire.com/iyb63r9a7avg/mm3gmu3zyy2/Omega_Constellation_Crowns.pdf
Heads up that you can also get the scalloped flat style crown for a 14393. It's considered correct by most forum members and has certainly been seen in Omega advertisements. It also may very well be easier to find. @ConElPueblo has started threads on the topic IIRC. Here it is on my 14393
I have purchased one of these before https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CORONA-C...430735?hash=item468de6e78f:g:B54AAOSwiqFaUh5PPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network All dims are same as 4204.
Thanks, @BenBagbag. I’m aware of that as well but would prefer the decagonal crown. Not sure why, but I love the look of that crown. Even if it’s a horrible thing to try to wind.. @Noddyman I saw your post a couple weeks ago about it, thank you for sharing that. I may give it a bit of time to find an original one first. I spoke with the seller and he has a handful of them available so hoping I have a little while before he sells out.
Just make sure that the dial config you've seen has had the decagonal crown. I haven't seen a decagonal on a railtrack, only the scalloped. Good luck on the search.
I have these three all with different logos, then a used one again with a different logo from the next. Maybe more if you want to find Wally in that lot.
Edited the above - I mis-typed. It’s a 14381 not a 14393. It’s a pie pan with rose gold furniture so I think the decagonal crown is generally correct. I’ll share photos at some point. @michael e its hard to tell from the photo - it’s a thinner 4204 and not the 4219?
Bought some when starting buying Connies but don't know if they are original, same size as the 4202... EDIT: 4204 of course
