This watch was previously discussed in a thread on the forum after I bought it at auction having tricked myself into thinking it had RG markers but they are actually YG and not to my taste so I am offering it here at a slight loss hoping to find it a new home with a forum member.

Dial/hands: Black pie-pan dial with YG arrowhead markers, the dial is still glossy with no signs of abuse/scratches but shows degradation to the lacquer around the markers and edges of the centre panel in harsh lighting, I am deliberately including numerous informal photos to illustrate it at its best / worst including when removed from its case - it is a lovely looking dial in person. There are scratches on the hour hand.

Case: Case shows wear all over, minimal corrosion to the rear and retains good sharpness to the edge of the bezel/lugs. The case back medallion is worn with one major deep scratch. The crown appears to have a service replacement type logo.

Movement: Cal. 505 movement winds and ticks and sets correctly, it has some rotor-rub but overall is clean with consistently coloured plating.16m Serial. It is un-serviced and as seen - I would highly recommend a service before use and do not wish to guarantee timekeeping.

Bracelet: As found on a stretched out 5 row beads of rice with some links missing but the No.11 end links are useable. It needs a nice black leather strap or flat link IMO.

Summary: This is a dial combination that is very difficult to find in a steel case, I have only spotted one other good example on the internet – it might be a long time before another one appears for sale here, I also doubt a dealer would offer one close to this price.

My Price: I am offering this watch for £2850 net to me via bank transfer; this includes shipping anywhere in the world (likely via Fedex). The watch is located in the UK and I could transact face-to-face in London with established members if requested.

Returns: I have never had anyone ask for a return, I would consider it only if the watch is terribly misdescribed. I am not going to refund you if it gains twelve seconds in a day after three weeks.
