    Hi,

New to the forum and have a square face stainless steel constellation - no. 5 in this picture:[IMG]

    model number 111041.

This originally had a spider lacquer dark grey face (face has very fine cracks that loom like a spiders Web) but unfortunately moisture has got into the case and the lacquer has lifted. I have had the face replaced with a plain dark grey one but would like to know if there is anywhere that can provide an original (or sh)spider face or re-lacquer in the same style as I would like to get it back to the original state.

    Location UK.

    Thanks in advance for replies.

It might be very hard to find any replacement as that era had a lot of different varieties made

Done a bit of searching and I think the watch model number is either 168.0062 or 368.0855, if anyone can confirm this, that would be much appreciated.

Have you tried STS in Essex ? They have a lot of original parts and a lot of contacts so maybe could help.

Can you show the two dark grey faces/dials you have? They appear silver/light grey to me and I've never seen much of anything else other than that.

New replacement dial for this model is still available, but for old, vintage one, you'd have to look around places like eBay or similar.

To replicate the crazing/spider lacquer, probably somebody like an artist/painter can help.

PS: the reference number is indeed 368.0855. It has the last in-house chronometer movement by Omega, caliber 1011, a fabulous one.
