Square case 2500d

Hello,
I've been collecting watches for a while, and a few Omegas. The smaller size case of the Byzantiums (7806.30.32) caught my eye, and I was thinking of building a watch out of Ebay parts and having a custom dial with Tritium indices made. I was wondering if the 3 level 2500d would fit in this case even though it's supposed to be thicker. The 3903 case I think? I don't want to settle for the a, b, or c variants of this movement. I'd appreciate any input about whether this can fit or if there's another case 35mm or less that would also be suitable.

Hi welcome to OF

I don`t understand what you are trying to achieve with that project. The watch did come with a co-axial movment originaly? Or am I mistaken?
Building a watch may be more expensive than buying a used one is it not? Or are you going to (God forbid) build it from fake parts?

He wants to use an Omega 2500D movement and I assume the watch he's talking about was only made with a 2500C or 2500B--both of which are thinner than the 2500D.

OP - if I have that right I don't think there's any chance you could install a 2500D in a case made for a 2500B or 2500C movement.

That is correct. By ebay parts I mean an OEM case, hands, movement, even if I have to cobble a working one together from more than one 2500. But it always seems with mechanical watches (and plenty of my other hobbies) that the exact thing I want doesn't exist and I'd end up having to fabricate half of it. The Byzantium has everything I want minus the tritium; high end manufacturer, water resistance, sapphire glass, chronometer accuracy, non-Rolex, small enough for me to tolerate wearing. I guess I'll have to keep looking.
