    Figured this would be of interest. I saw the 1950's German made spy watch on Auction Kings last night.


    A more modern version.

    I suspect the spy watches were converted for the purpose. Perhaps some unique characteristic of the case made it possible and possibly a more compact movement was substituted.
    Its not unlikely that these saw more use by police undercover operations than anything more sinister.
