To replace Omega spring bars, would you care whether the spring bars are "double shouldered" or not?

If there are holes in the side of the lugs it doesn't matter. Without holes I want the double shouldered springbars for ease of switching straps.

Another important consideration is getting the correct length. The problems with a bar that is too short are obvious; however jewelers are often tempted to use what is at hand and if that is a bar that is too LONG, it can spell big trouble down the road. Long bars can be very difficult to remove, cause deep scratches and other damage to the lugs. Worse yet, when extreme pressure is required to pull back the bar, a slight slip can cause a deep gouge in the side or bezel of the watch
