Spontaneously stuck between dates

Hi. My 8900 Aqua Terra was purchased new in May and for the third time now it gets stuck when changing dates. It happens every two months i guess.
The first time I fixed it myself by playing with it. The second time I took it to the Omega lab and he did the same as I did and said it's alright.
Is this an known issue?

Well, it's happened again. I hope I can convey to them that it's a persistent albeit not constant problem. It happens every few weeks, it seems. I hope they replace something.

I've had that happen a couple times. While one might be inclined to pick the prettier one, I've found it more advantageous in the long run to pick the smarter one.

It's midnight again. The date wheel advanced to between the next two dates. So I turned the minute hand ahead until the date advanced now a date ahead and it did so when I got to 8 pm. So I set the watch normally to the present time 12:10 am.
The question is, can I expect Omega to address the issue? After all it happens only occasionally and I can manually take care of it. Is this a problem or merely a quirk?

What happens if you leave the date stuck when it's supposed to change to the next day (24 hours later)?

If it were my watch, I would send it in but try to let it run out of power showing the crooked date or at least include a picture.

I would demand Omega to address the issue, if it were me.

Just tell Omega that the date change keeps sticking and you want it rectified under warranty.

Don't go into specifics on how often it happens and don't mention you were "playing with it".

Had the same issue, they fixed it under warranty.
They'll probably lecture you to not use the quick set during the the 3 hours before and after midnight....

It will advance again to the same in-between dates state.

This isn't the quick set movement as it is the 8900. Was your issue with this movement?

Playing with it means moving the date back and forth to adjust it to the proper date. But you're right about not giving them an excuse by those words.

23/24. And at the following midnight 24/25. Playing back and forth with the date brings me to 26. Then I go back to 25, the date.
Then I'm good to go for a while until it happens again. It will get stuck weeks later at random dates.
