Just edited the title of this thread as, after a quick search, I found another wanker selling his #SpeedyTuesday LE :

Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday, CHF 8 000.-

I guess this thread will quickly see new entries. Let's help @Robert-Jan and Omega to spot all those douchebags and hopefully ban them out.

I am surprised that someone would be so bold as to do this. I don't know if Omega care about this kind of thing but I would hope that people like this get banned from being able to buy the watch and told to fuckenzeeoffen.

Interesting on price though - is this where we see the value at launch? Personally I think it's better looking than the Snoopy, though of course without the extra NASA link.

Also what would happen if Omega failed to deliver? As is its right - for ANY reason.

omega possibly cant do anything anymore once the owner posted his extra speedy tuesday on ebay for profit.

on the other hand, for those who failed to get a reserve, might be interested to bid for a higher price. thus, increases the value of this limited edition in the open market.

@Screwbacks Paying now for a reservation without any guarantee on delivery is the most stupid thing one could do at this stage...

Nope, actually he just filled a web form on time and didn't pay anything yet. And the reservation isn't any form of guarantee from Omega he actually will get this watch with that LE number :)

...at least that's what I understand from the confirmation I've got :whistling:

I've been waiting to see this. I'm shocked it took this long. The Omega community scares me from being bold enough to do it. Plus I really nerd out on stuff like this.

Back when the Apple watch first came out, I bought a reservation to get one of the first ones. I forget how it worked, but I ended up with a watch. I wasn't very bright. Still not so much.

Whether you like this practice or not, it does bode well for the collector value of the Speedy Tuesday model. This was a big question for Omega. Looks like the ST model will be a success. Omega releases a lot of "LE" models, and they produce such a high number of each model that it's tough to think of them as truly "limited." Almost 2000 ST's is not very limited to me.

I don't think Omega is concerned with folks selling reservations. Once all the units are sold Omega is happy.
