Funny you mention Apollo 19. I grew up in the same town as Fred Haise. At the Stennis Space Center we just received the Saturn First Stage that was to be used on Apollo 19. Apollo 19 was to be commanded by Mr Haise. I went down to visit family and go to the roll out of the First Stage. Mr Haise gave out Apollo 19 Mission patches and signed my program. What a shame. Apollo 18 and 19 were going to be very aggressive missions.
Amazing coincidence, I went to my OB to pick up my Seamaster Trilogy on the 19th and my fantastic salesperson let me handle the 45th Apollo 17 tribute in steel. The original buyer was upset he did not get the limited edition number he wanted and backed out, making this available. If I wasn’t picking up the 60th Seamaster , it would have been hard to say no.
