Enjoyed that, thanks RJ.

What are they made out of? I couldn't work out if they were card or a think piece of metal.

If You wear a JB Champion steel mesh bracelet on a daily basis, these aren't crappy after all... very lightweight and comfortable 👍

It's already 60 years ago since the patent for a foldable thin sheet metal wrist calendar was submitted (Filed 1965, December 6).
At least this was a patent for the H-shaped style wrist calendar as we know there was also an oval shaped thin sheet metal calendar.
Via @pdxleaf we also found out NASA flight surgeon, USAF Colonel Dr William K. Douglas mentioned the " BGI - Brevard Graphics Inc. " foldable calendar, by 1966 known as the executive wrist calendar, in some of his letters.
It would be interesting to dig deeper in these H-shaped style Brevard wrist calendars and when the name " Timely calendar " first came up!
This 1960 NASA photo shows a Lockheed T-33 T-bird subsonic jet trainer with Mercury 7 astronaut Walter "Wally" Schirra (not yet wearing an Omega Speedmaster) giving flight surgeon Dr Bill Douglas a ride. NASA borrowed USAF T-33 before getting the supersonic twinjet Northrop T-38 on loan in 1963...
