I did look to see if I could match my 010x number on my Speedy Tuesday, but I automatically got 015x which is close enough so I guess I'm content with it

Hi all, first time post and will be new to Omega when I pick up the Ultraman.

Must admit, after missing out on last year’s Speedy Tuesday (which I think is an excellent watch), and mistakenly thinking that I was somewhere near the top of the list for this year’s offering, I had to e-mail Omega to ask when the ST2 would actually go on sale. They only responded to me on 10 July at 11.14am (GMT) to say “Sir, Now! please you may now order.” As you can imagine I was pretty surprised by this so tapped away furiously at the Omega website to commit £4,750 for something I hadn’t really seen or knew much about! Anyhow, I gave it a go and somehow managed to secure 06**!

I now await contact from someone at Omega to say come and collect it and give us all your lovely cash into the bargain! I can certainly understand those who are saying that this is one Omega LE too far but then again it’s human nature to want something that bit more exclusive - I mean, who wouldn’t want a chance repeat of the Silver Snoopy award hence the reason these things selling out in less than half an hour I suppose.

Having now had the opportunity to scrutinise the Ultraman and do some comparisons, I can draw some parallels with the Snoopy: both have idiosyncrasies that seem to attract the collecting fraternity; call it over exuberance in the dial departments - wording/pictures/use of lume etc; highlighted minute/second markers and of course limited production numbers.

I’m not saying for one moment that it’s a given that it will, but the media frenzy, after-sales internet chitter chatter and speculation around this particular piece has created the impression to me that “well, maybe it could just do something...”

Anyway, good luck to all those that managed to get one and commiserations to those that did not. I will collect mine, wear it and above all keep it - just grateful that I got one and can’t wait to pick it up!

Cheers all.

Gripping first post. I felt like i was with you on that experience of realizing they were already online for sale! Cant wait to see the pics when it arrives😀

That was way down on my list of priorities for this one...😉

But show your more about the profits than the watches.........

Guys, i know you gonna hate me 😁 I managed to get number 14xx/2012 - the same as my ST1 while on holiday in Thailand. I did it on my iPhone on mobile data. No problem even choosing specific number. Superb luck I guess.
Buuuut I did have a accident on a scooter week later and broke my patella, so the luck is a tricky thing I guess... 😀
Hope we get out ST2s soon.

BTW: the Thai hospital on Koh Samui was suprisingly nice.

Sorry, that was my attempt at a little bit of irony. However, unless I’m a being a bit stupid here or something, how am I going to profit from a watch that I don’t intend to sell??

Anyone get a number over 1000? I think everyone on OF got a really low number no matter when they reserved. I got 1833 and haven't seen anyone get nearly that high of a number, I even reserved in the first 3 minutes. I didn't really care but it just seems odd no one else has a high number.

I got >1850

Mine is under 200 and I was confirmed 32 minutes after it went on sale, so fairly late. Seems pretty random.

I had 1407 having logged in about 15 minutes into it. I then tried a couple numbers, birthdays etc and all got rejected so I decided to keep 1407. That's when the site crashed on me. It just froze before giving me the confirmation. I then tried to log back in and kept getting kicked out saying there were no more numbers available. So when I finally got in and got assigned a number in the 1700's I just took it and was thankful to get through the whole process at all.

It was confirmed in the ST Facebook group by Mr. Broer himself that the watches will be delivered chronologically by number. Glad I was randomly assigned a low number so I don’t have to wait too long.

Ugh. So there is a benefit to the low number. Oh well they said all watches will be out by November correct? Us large number folks won't have to wait that long.

Apologies if this has already been answered - I'll admit I haven't read all 34 pages of this thread, only the last few - but does anyone know when those of us on the waiting list might begin to hear about availability? When do slots start to free up for people backing out (if they do at all)? Is it only after deliveries start? Anyone have experience from ST#1?

Thanks in advance

From what I have seen most of those who decide to back out do it when it's already reached the OB of their choice. So they might then look at it or not and decide weather it's for them. That's how I received my ST1 as I was next on the list. I suppose it about weather or not you have the money aswell as anyone can click a button to reserve.

Wow, you are brave enough to expose your reserved number and not just 10xx?!? Or "in the low 1000s"?!? 😲😲😲
