Yes , omega came out with a special limited edition squirrel dress watch. 38mm and 18k gold with case back medallion honoring the Philadelphia Flyers. Numbered 1-500 watches. Special price for member here of $ 3000. It has a setting chime that features a squirrel chattering, real cute 👍 Sold out.

Damn. Too bad I slept in. No big deal though - my official team is now the Pittsburgh Penguins. Besides, if I want one they'll be real cheap next May when the Flyers are out of the playoffs.

Should have been 22 seconds, if there was no crashing.

Question is... what bracelet would go well with this? 1171/633?

I was wearing covered shoes when I was frantically reserving mine. Shoes = good luck charm!

I have to admit I am not seeing the profile on the sub secs just yet - looks more like a Rorschach card atm. I suspect it's like those visual illusions that once you know what you are seeing you can't un-see it - I just never really expanded out of Superman, the Phantom and Batman.

The Omega design team must be jubilant about their successful "launch" 😀

Not period correct for the Ultraman, but probably the best contemporary option.

Not sure if the head is distinctively Ultraman

I grew up in the 80s/90s, Godzilla, Transformers, MASK, Ultraman, Voltron, Gundam etc.... These are my childhood fantasies coming through. I love Ultraman, and remembered how his entire family came down to rescue him when he was being defeated /after his 3mins transformation.

It's just fantastic they added all the little subtleties into their design.

Being a 80s/90s kid, along with the imprint of one of my favorite childhood TV shows; this is a no brainer.

How did the reservation process work? Could you choose a number or was it assigned in order? Did you have to place a deposit?
