Nicely done, a big and tricky subject to tackle in a short article. A couple of things, possibly remnants from the earlier text made me scratch my head though. Firstly, which Ed Whites had Professional on the dial? Secondly in my experience the last 321 movement 145.012s were produced later than Oct 1968. Mine has a recent extract for 1st Nov and isn’t the highest serial 321 I have seen by quite some way. Sorry to be picky!

I've read many times that the serial numbers didn't always go into watches in numerical order, so your later watch could have an earlier SN than a watch made before yours which could have a higher SN. Unless those sources were incorrect (including author of Moonwatch Only).

That could well be true and isn’t under question but I rather doubt I have the worlds youngest 321 Speedmaster. I am pretty sure I have heard of 145.012 extracts with 1969 production dates.

Ah, I made the mistake on the 105.003 and corrected it under the '105.003' paragraph but forget to remove the reference a paragraph below. Now fixed.

Regarding the production dates on the 145.012, this was communicated long time ago to me by Diethelm from Omega. The 145.022 was introduced in October 1968, so the later 145.012 might be back-orders. Or the assembly of stock. I will check this with the museum.
