should i decide to deflower it, i'm wondering about straps. don't love the bracelet . . . i'm partial to the grey suede

I've kept mine on the bracelet and added an adjustable clasp. But I always thought the Tintin looks right at home on a black leather strap.

I switched over to a brown leather band and deployant after wearing it once or twice on the bracelet. After that it became my everyday watch.

EDIT, the seller is now offering a straight sale at £6,300.

Hi all!

long time I don’t post here, but now I have a new TinTin strap that I love and I want to share it with you all. The strap is a NATO from Bulang & Sons artfully handpainted by my wife with the moon rocket ‘Objectif lune’. I think it fits the watch nicefully. Let me know if u like it.

I just came across this massive thread and would like to contribute details of my first Omega watch. The warranty is dated December 2018 and came LNIB. Got it for a reasonable price below $6k. I was looking for something a little different to compliment my other watches. I had been looking at Speedmasters on and off for a couple of years but now glad I've added one to the small collection.

I'll PM the relevant person with the serial!

Bic Camera? (May I ask?)

Not Bic, a local watch shop. I think they're no longer available at the electronic stores although their prices are still up online...clearly this was an unloved piece. It certainly seems that Japan had its fair share of them.

Met a new fellow “car guy” last weekend. His first comment, even before “Hello”?

“Nice Tintin; I’m jealous.” 😀
