6 months?! I don't think we get that here in the UK... 45 days I think. You've got it good there! 馃榾
It's a new policy as of last year--not sure if it's international policy, or domestic US-only. All purchases made using paypal (whether paid with bank funds, paypal credit, or CC/debit) are essentially given 6 month warranty protection at the cost of the seller. I've already had to make use of the policy once when a camera part failed during month 4.

If you go through ebay, the buyer guarantee is just 30 days--and I recall it used to be 45-days both on ebay/paypal. Back then, I was usually forced to resort to use of CC chargeback protections, which were good for 90-days after the posting of the original charge. Having the extended paypal coverage is a nice fallback to have.

I'm in the US, and the PO I purchased from a GM jeweler came with all the boxes, papers and the warranty card stamped by the AD who supplied him with the watch. The GM jeweler is a 1-2 man shop, not a big online presence.

Agree, nice looking strap--but the red is a bit too dark. Maybe leaving it out in the sun for a month or two would make the dial color match a bit better? Or maybe a soak in a diluted bleach solution?

Haha i don't know... However according to your predictions after some years of sun it will look even better than now, that's the way it should be! Let's be patient as we are with the good wine! 馃榾

I hope you mean the strap and not the watch! :-D

I did mean the strap, in case anyone was wondering. If I ever advocated putting a moonwatch in a bleach solution (or even water for that matter), it would be on April 1st!!

I'd hate to see what constant contact with the sun could do to a dial.

Think this is my first post on here after lurking for ages I thought it best to join, especially as I've just picked up my first Speedmaster and it just had to be a 'Tintin'. My ref is 77776xx.

Just need to decide which strap to buy now as its calling out for a bit of leather!

Please tell me that's just a custom decal and not an officially licensed merchandise vehicle.
