I want to swap out the bracelet on my Speedy Pro for a strap. I already have a golden brown Hirsch Medici I've used on a SMP but I'd like to get a black strap with straight ends for the Speedy.

I was thinking of either the Di Modell Rallye with beige or white stitching, another Hircsh model or NATO. Thing is I've now looked at so many I give up!

Can any one comment on the quality and fit (possibly with pictures) of the Di Modell?

    Cheers
    Matt

Even though I have the bracelets for most of mine I tend to wear them on a strap. Here are a few options:

Omega vintage calf in either brown or black gives it an authentic 60's look IMO.

@Spike -- Emphasis on vintage calf for the 'authentic 60's' look catches attention. Please elaborate on the apparent differences between these vintage Omega calf and modern Omega straps (other than cost). Can you recommend a source? Thanx!

    This is what I mean

You can get them from Omega for about £45. I have seen them sold by watch stores online for double that, although I'm not sure why.

Strap Character +1. Resembles that on the Speedy you sold last summer.

Given this fine example, I understand why you served up the former.

    Thanks!
