    Hi all,

I've recently been lucky enough to get hold of a 1974 Speedy Pro. I love the watch, but the original 1170 bracelet is a bit stretched, and thin for my taste- I'd like something a little more modern with solid end links. Have the springbar holes moved, or are they in the same place as the modern 3750.50? I did buy an aftermarket later style bracelet (with the twin-button clasp), but when fitted, there was a massive gap between the end link and the case.

    Any ideas appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

    Alex.

The holes have moved slightly but newer end links can often be made to fit with a bit of the old elbow grease.

I have 808 solid endlinks on my 66 after 5 mins of filing the lip down.

'66 CB with 808 solid endlinks and a vintage 1171.

Doesn't look perfect as the endlinks stick up slightly further than the top of the lugs but there's zero rattle.
